Mostly A: Dry/Mature

In Ayurvedic Medicine, your type would be referred to as ‘Vata’.

Your skin tends to be dry, can become flakey, have dark spots/circles under the eyes and present with premature fine lines. In addition to incorporating a lot of rich nourishment & moisture into your skincare, you should try to stay well hydrated and eat foods that provide your skin with plenty of healthy fat (ie; avocado, fish, nuts etc.).

Cleanser: Organic Honey is the perfect facial cleanser. It breaks down dirt in the pores while drawing moisture into the skin. Place a dollop (approx. the size of a Looney) into the palm of your hand and add a few drops of your synergy. Massage onto a damp face, let sit for a few moments, then rinse. 

*If you are removing make-up or would like a more 'soapy' cleanser, add a bit of natural, unscented cleanser to this mixture. To make a larger batch, follow the Facial Cleanser recipe here.

Mask: A combination of Avocado and Organic Honey are the perfect mask for you. Combine one mashed Avocado with approx. one tbsp. of honey and a few drops of your synergy. Apply to a damp face, let sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse. 

Serum: Rosa Rubiginosa (aka Rose Hip Seed Oil) is the ultimate serum for your skin. It prevents and reduces the signs of oxidative damage and assists in cell regeneration. Place a dollop (approx. the size of a Looney) into the palm of your hand and add a few drops of your synergy. Apply to a clean face in the morning and evening. To make a larger batch, follow the Facial Serum recipe here.

Toner: Pure Hydrosols make an amazing toner for all skin types. They balance and hydrate the skin. Your toner could be just one of the Hydrosols listed above, or a combination of two or three. You could add a few drops of your synergy to your hydrosol to boost the activity.

Mostly B: Sensitive

In Ayurvedic Medicine, your type would be referred to as ‘Pitta’.

Your skin tends to be clear and radiant, however it can become red and irritated, be sensitive and become clogged/congested in areas (typically the T zone). Overall, you have combination, sensitive skin. In addition to using chemical-free products, you should try your best to eat clean and take good care of your liver.

* If there are areas of your face that tend to breakout, use Aloe Vera Gel as your serum base instead. A combo of both Aloe & Evening Primrose is the best serum base for you, however you cannot keep them stored in the same bottle.

Mostly C: Oily/Congested

In Ayurvedic Medicine, your type would be referred to as ‘Kapha’.
Your skin tends to be smooth and moist, it is prone to becoming oily and presenting enlarged pores and breakouts. You may also experience puffy eyes and rashes. In addition to deeply cleansing and detoxifying your skin, you should try to eat lots of fruits & vegetables and limit your intake of rich & oily foods.

* If there are areas of your skin that tend to get quite dry, or require extra protection during the winter, add Evening Primrose to the serum being applied to those areas. Simply do so at the time of application, do not mix Aloe and Evening Primrose together in a larger batch.
