Description & Scent Profile:

Steam-distilled from the fragrant wild resin of Somalian Boswellia carterii trees, Frankincense essential oil is an ancient, legendary botanical cherished for thousands of years in sacred rituals and luxury skincare. Featuring a profound, resinous-woody aroma with uplifting balsamic and citrusy undertones, it is exceptionally rich in naturally occurring alpha-Pinene, Limonene, and Sabinene. Renowned for its extraordinary ability to revitalize mature, dry complexions, smooth the look of fine lines, and refine skin texture, Frankincense simultaneously quiets mental chatter, deepens the breath, and surrounds the senses with an atmosphere of serene, elevated tranquility.

Key Botanical, Cosmetic & Mindful Benefits:

Rejuvenating & Radiance-Boosting Skincare: Intensely nourishes mature or weathered complexions, helping diminish the appearance of fine lines, surface discoloration, and loss of skin tone.

Soothing After-Shave & Beard Care: Comforts dry skin, calms razor sensitivity, and conditions facial hair when incorporated into luxury beard oils and post-shave balms.

Elevating & Mindful Aromatherapy: Deepens the breath, eases everyday nervous stress, and provides a quiet, sacred, and centring backdrop for meditation, prayer, and restful sleep.

Atmospheric & Cleansing Environmental Refresh: Purifies stale indoor air and brings an invigorating, clearheaded sensory quality to steam inhalations and home diffusers during cold-weather seasons.

Best Ways to Experience:

Rejuvenating Radiant Facial Serum: Dilute 1 drop of Frankincense, 1 drop of Neroli, and 1 drop of Helichrysum into 15 ml of Jojoba or Rosehip seed oil. Gently press onto clean face and neck morning and night to restore natural vibrancy.

Soothe & Nourish Beard & After-Shave Oil: Pre-mix 2 drops of Frankincense and 2 drops of Sandalwood into 15 ml of Argan or Jojoba oil. Smooth over clean skin and facial hair after shaving to comfort razor sensitivity.

Centring Meditative Roll-On: Blend 1 drop of Frankincense, 1 drop of Sandalwood, and 1 drop of Black Spruce into 10 ml of Jojoba oil in a glass roll-on bottle. Apply to pulse points, collarbones, and wrists during meditation or quiet reflection.

Clearing Seasonal Steam Inhalation: Place 1–2 drops into a bowl of steaming hot water. Draping a towel over your head, close your eyes and breathe deeply for 3 minutes for an immediate clearheaded, centring reset.

Aromatherapist's Tip: Frankincense carterii is the classic, timeless variety of sacred resin. Its exceptionally high ester and terpene content makes it a foundational middle-to-base note in high-end natural perfumes, anti-aging facial serums, and soothing beard oils.
