Alchemy At Home Part II: Botanical Honeys

Alchemy At Home Part II: Botanical Honeys

Okay friends, it's officially summer, and that means that here in Ontario we finally have some beautiful florals to work with right in our backyards!

We are super fortunate to have a sprawling Apothecary Rose Bush in our garden. Our roses are full of aroma and rich with skin healing properties, so naturally we centred our early summer distillation around them.
If you don't have access to a rose bush, many plants can be used in botanical honey glycerites. Some make amazing skincare honeys (our favourite). Many plants can also be used in honey alone to make delicious culinary honeys.

In our Distillation & Formulation Course this fall we'll be experimenting with: botanical honey, enfleurage, macerate, steam distillation, extracts, shrubs, waxes & more!

PSA, we only run this course once per year & it fills up fast
