Spring Skincare: Striking The Perfect Balance

The changing of seasons calls for the changing of skincare ingredients

Much like your appetite changes as the weather gets warmer, your skin will be craving different botanicals too!

Botanicals that detoxify, shed dead skin, provide lighter hydration and nourishment along with some protection from the sun.

Here’s our go-to Spring Skincare routine using solely the bounties of nature...

  • Exfoliate
  • Now more than ever your skin needs to shed the dead. We love our AHA Honey Mud because it gently exfoliates the dead skin without being at all abrasive. We use the AHA Honey Mud 1-2 times per week to exfoliate, soften & polish the skin. It seriously leaves your skin so glowy and soft.

  • Hydrate
  • Hydrosols are a skincare necessity at all times of year, but in the warmer months they provide the perfect light, easily absorbed hydration for the skin. We especially love Neroli, Rose, Rosemary, Helichrysum & Peppermint. Spritz in the morning, the evening and anytime throughout the day that your skin needs a little drink. 

  • Nourish 
  • Deep nourishment comes from the hip and seed oils. At this time of year, we reach for combinations of lighter carrier oils like Jojoba & Raspberry Seed, blended with the richer oils like Rose Hip Seed Oil to strike the perfect balance between regeneration & accessible hydration. We created a Spring Serum to bring all of these nourishing carrier oils, plus our Glow Synergy into one bottle of spring skincare goodness. 

  • Protect
  • If you feel you’d like some extra nourishment and protection, we’ve also created a beautiful spring day cream using Raspberry Seed Oil as a key ingredient. Raspberry Seed provides some sun protection & helps to repair existing skin damage. We love this light yet nourishing day cream for spring & summer.
