
Let's just take a second to debunk one very common myth in the world of 'clean products'; it's actually incredibly easy (& inexpensive) to make your own cleaning products!
Many of the 'clean' cleaning products out there aren't actually all that 'clean' and they cost way more than necessary. These recipes are simple as can be and work like a charm.
These recipes are based on 100 ml bottles, scale up as needed depending on the size of your bottle.
DIY Disinfecting Surface Spray
This spray can be used on kitchen surfaces to disinfect & freshen
1. Place 30 drops Clean Blend + a small amount of dish soap at the bottom of one of your spray bottles.
2. Fill the bottle with 1/2 white vinegar and 1/2 distilled water.
3. Secure the lid and shake well.
DIY Multi-Purpose Surface Spray
This spray is a strong broad spectrum antimicrobial, it can be used to clean bathrooms & other areas of the home
1. Place 45 drops Defence Blend + a small amount of dish soap at the bottom of one of your spray bottles.
2. Fill the bottle with 1/2 white vinegar and 1/2 water or (for added disinfectant) 1/3 white vinegar, 1/3 alcohol* and 1/3 distilled water
3. Secure the lid and shake well.
DIY Clearing Room Spray
This room spray will clear odors from the environment
1. Place 45 drops Clarity Blend + a small amount of dish soap or alcohol* at the bottom of one of your spray bottle.
2. Fill the bottle with distilled water.
3. Secure the lid and shake well.
DIY Carpet Powder
This powder will remove unpleasant odors from your carpets and rugs
1. In a small bowl, combine 40 drops Clarity Blend or Clean Blend with 2 cups of Baking Soda
2. Stir thoroughly to ensure the essential oil is completely combined into the powder
3. This powder can be stored in a mason jar or ziplock bag, tightly sealed
4. To use: Dust the powder onto your carpet, allow it to sit for ~ 10 minutes before vacuuming it up

*Alcohol is a great natural emulsifier; it helps essential oil mix into water. Get the highest proof of grain alcohol you can find at your local liquor store.
