A broad spectrum of action, with a lovely & fresh aroma

Palmarosa is an important oil to have on hand when fighting or recovering from an illness; it is antibacterial, antiviral and helps to reduce fever. Diffuse it in your environment or use in a head compress (add a few drops to warm water to soak a washcloth).

Palmarosa also has a strong anti-fungal action, with an aroma much softer than others in this category. This makes Palmarosa ideal for many of your household needs, for foot treatments and deodorizing room diffusion. For these purposes, it works best in combination with Geranium Rose (and/or Thyme Linalol).  To combat musky or moldy carpets, make this DIY Carpet Powder; spread it over the area, then vacuum as normal.

DIY Carpet Powder

Add 3 drops of Palmarosa and 3 drops of Geranium Rose to approx. 3 tbsp of Baking Soda, stir well to combine.

Palmarosa is a great oil for daily detoxification; add it to your shower gel or deodorant, use it in the sauna or bath. Aside from its fresh, beautiful aroma, Palmarosa helps to balance the skin, strengthen immunity and assist in the elimination of toxins.

DIY Nourishing Facial Mask

Add three drops of each Palmarosa and Neroli to 1 tbsp Rose Hip Seed Oil and 2 tbsp mashed Papaya. Mix well and apply to your face and neck, allowing to sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
